additional info:

1. the ticket does not look like a ticket at all it looks more like a invitation card but please take note that that is a ticket.

2. nearest mrt is dhoby ghaut or maybe city hall. dhoby ghaut is nearer. at the last page of the so called invitation card ticket they will show you how to walk from dhoby ghaut mrt all the way to NAFA, Lee Foundation Theatre. So don't be worried about directions and all that you would be able to find ur way through if you refer to the back of the invitation card ticket.

3. pls dont be late. usually audience should be seated 10-15mins before concert start.

4. invitation spreads out to ur whole family, especially if you have siblings dont be hesitant to bring them along. yes. you can invite ur entire family to come along. cos each performer is entitled to about 70 tickets. Hweewern has super a lot of tickets. so please dont hesitate to tell her that you want 10 tickets cos she'd be so happy you helped her clear those 70 tickets. but make sure the people who have the tickets turn up! if not she will jialat in front of her piano teacher. haha.

5. if u want to come to this piano concert, you can either tag on choir blog tagboard, or sms hwee wern at 81699456. please INDICATE the no. of tickets u want in total. then the next choir prac she will pass the tickets to you. the faster the better. latest by next monday.

the details of SYC concert are as follows:

Date: 13/12/09 Sunday
Time: 7.30pm
Venue: Esplanade Concert Hall
Performers: SYC and friends featuring SYC emsemble singers conducted by Vytautas Miskinis
Ticket price: $25 (supposed to be $30 but we have the discount price:D)

the SYC concert is COMPULSORY (a very good learning experience for a chorale singer) to go unless you are overseas on that day.
Hence, plz sms me @ 97438411 by wednesday nite if you are unable to go.

hello people! Details of chalet and amount to pay.

so this is how much yall have to pay.

People coming on the first day ONLY(for the BBQ): $12
People not staying over but coming over on the other days: $15
People staying over for full three days: $18

All these prices are not based on the chalet, cause chalet rental is quite cheap, so it's mostly on food and tell me if your class chalet charge those whose not staying and staying at a different price, of course not right? Of course it's most advisable for everyone to stay, the more the merrier what! It's totally safe, there are no lions, confirm!

Day 1: checking in around afternoon, so will meet at Pasir Ris mrt station at 3.30pm
Games
Food -> dinner: BBQ
supper: cup noodles

Day 2: Games
Food ->breakfast:
afternoon: pizza
dinner: spaghetti

Day 3: check out at around 11am.

Things to bring:
sleeping bag (may not have enough beds)
bathing neccessities
4 sets of clothes (for people who are staying)
games (cards, mahjong, twister, etc)

2sets of clothes (for people coming on the first day only, cause may have water games)

yoyo!~ fyi, we are most likely unable to perform carolling for the Siloso Beach Resort in Sentosa due to some reasons.
I am currently contacting another shopping mall (City Square) for xmas carolling. They have not replied me yet, but as soon as I receive the information, I will inform you guys who signed up for carolling the details :) so plz be patient for a little while.

Ok, apart from that, pls be reminded to learn your scores at home!
For yr 1s, I would suggest that you memorise Ioson as soon as possible as yr 2s and 3s have already done that.
yr 2s and 3s should not slack too~ work on 鬼湖之恋 and kasar and 四季红:)

another impt notice:
on monday 9/11, plz meet at bball court at 7.50am for PT.
plz eat your breakfast b4 you come (but not too much if not you will puke -.-)
we will start our practice at 9am.
Please bear in mind that PT is VERY IMPORTANT.

HEYO CHOIRRRR:D

for your latest information,
century sq has rejected our request to carol there :(
however, there is another opportuniy at Siloso Beach Resort in Sentosa!

This is an annual event that they have in their resort and is only open to their in-house guests. It is a time for their guests to enjoy dinner and beautiful music. Therefore, it is a good chance to showcase our talents and wonderful voices. In addition, this is a great opportunity for us to gain some experience, as there will be great public exposure (they are expecting about 100 guests over the course of the event)

The event is on 24/12, Xmas eve.
For those who have signed up for carolling, please inform me if you are able to make it for this event. For those who did not sign up for the carolling on monday, you can inform me now as well:) SMS ME/tagboard :D

PS: the event is not very confirmed yet, I am still negotiating with the Siloso Beach Resort Officers. I will let you guys know the latest information on Friday.

How to get there?
By car:
If you're coming from the north,
take SLE/TPE, and exit to Loyang Ave (towards Changi Village). *

If you're coming from the west,
you can either take AYE/ECP or PIE to TPE/SLE, and exit to Loyang Ave (towards Changi Village). *

* Go along Loyang Ave (it's quite a long and windy route) and turn left into Cranwell Road. Our chalets are located along Cranwell, Gosport, Andover, Leuchars, Catterick, Netheravon, Halton, Sealand and Biggin Hill Roads. You can check out our map to locate your chalet.

By mrt: further details will be given for everyone to meet and go there together
